  • 64 - Oak Square to Central Square (Cambridge) via Cambridge Street
  • 65 - Kenmore Square to Brighton Center via Longwood Medical District
  • 70 - Waltham to Central Square (Cambridge) via Western Avenue
  • 86 - Cleveland Circle to Harvard Square via Market Street

Inner-express bus routes include:

  • 501 - Brighton Center to Financial District
  • 503 - Brighton Center to Copley Square.

The C-line of the Green-line terminates in Brighton, and the D-line of the Green-line runs nearby, though not through Brighton.

Beacon Hill, MA

Beacon Hill is a 19th century downtown Boston, residential neighborhood situated directly north of the Boston Common and the Boston Public Garden. Approximately one-half mile square, Beacon Hill is bounded by Beacon Street, Bowdoin Street, Cambridge Street and Storrow Drive – it is considered one of Boston’s smallest and most historic neighborhoods and features a mix of grand townhouses and fashionable shops.

The Fenway/Kenmore area is not only home of the Red Sox and Fenway Park, but also includes an abundance of universities and museums in the Boston area, such as The Art Institute of Boston, Northeastern University, portions of Boston University (including the Myles Standish Residence Hall), portions of the Harvard Medical School, Berklee College of Music, Massachusetts College of Art, Wentworth Institute of Technology, Simmons College, Wheelock College, Emmanuel College, and the New England School of Photography. Museums in this area include the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. The MBTA Green-line runs throughout this section of Boston.
